    Connect zpio to your current modem or router. The kids' devices join zpio's Wi-Fi; you can keep yours.

    The setup wizard asks for their names and ages, then suggests time limits, bedtime and filters for each age. Adjust anything later.

We built zpio for our own kids first.

We're Lina and Juan, parents who have spent many years working in technology. We've seen up close how apps and devices are designed to keep kids scrolling, and how hard it is for families to keep up. We believe it's time to take the control back.

zpio is a project from parents to parents. Instead of spying on kids or locking everything down, it helps them build healthy digital habits, with rules the whole family can understand.

Questions parents ask us

Do I have to replace my internet provider's router?

No. zpio connects to your current modem or router with a cable and creates its own Wi-Fi. Connect the kids' devices to zpio; adults can stay on your existing Wi-Fi if you prefer.

What happens after the 12 months of zpio Cloud?

Everything at home keeps working for free: filters, time limits, bedtime and approvals on your home network. zpio Cloud Basic ($6.99/month) adds approvals and alerts while you're away from home. It's optional.

Can my kids get around it?

zpio blocks the most common workarounds, like encrypted DNS and IPv6 tricks. It protects your home network, so it can't control a phone on mobile data or on someone else's Wi-Fi. We'd rather tell you that up front, and we keep improving protection with every update.

Does zpio read my kids' messages?

No. zpio manages time and access. It never reads messages, takes screenshots or records what your kids type.

Which devices does it work with?

Anything that connects to Wi-Fi or a network cable: phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles and smart TVs. Nothing needs to be installed on them.

Is it hard to set up?

A step-by-step wizard guides you through it from your phone or computer: Wi-Fi name, your kids and their age presets. If you get stuck, write to us and a real person will help.

When will my zpio arrive?

Within 5 months of your order. We'll email you updates along the way and a tracking number when it ships. If we can't ship within 5 months, you get a full refund.

What's your return policy?

We test every unit before it ships. If yours has a factory defect, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace or refund it. Pre-orders can't be returned for other reasons, except where your local law says otherwise.

Where do you ship?

To the United States and Canada for now, free of charge. More countries are coming.
